Serbian forward Lazar Markovic could reportedly depart from Liverpool in the January transfer window for free.
According to e Mirror reports, Serie A outfits Fiorentina and Genoa could be interested in a January contract to sign the Reds forgotten man.
The 24-year-old attacker is set to depart from Anfield at the end of the current campaign when his contract ends, however, there are now suggestions that his departure could be earlier in January.
Such is the Reds willingness to offload the Serbian, Jurgen Klopp’s side are believed to be happy to let the 24-year-old forward to leave for free and get rid off his wages.
Serbian attacker who has failed to realise his potential at the Reds since arriving at Anfield has been training with Liverpool’s U-21 side after failing to agree on a move this summer.
He has failed to impress at numerous loan spells and unlikely to play for Jurgen Klopp’s team a single minute following the competition in the frontline.
