Leeds United coach Marcelo Bielsa has hailed talented Gunners striker Eddie Nketiah following his fantastic start to life on loan at Elland Road. U21 England international, who’s a product of the London club youth academy, joined the Peacocks on loan this transfer window, and since then, he has been on form for the Championship club.
During his time with Leeds United, Eddie has scored four and assisted one in his six matches for the Whites in all tournaments, with the striker helping them with their impressive start in the Championship. And following this form, Marcelo has taken to the press to praise Nketiah for the overall way he’s performed during his time with Leeds.
Bielsa has been praising the 20-year-old centre-forward highly recently, with the Argentine manager stating that “Nketiah is a striker who scores goals. Some footballers get involved a lot in finishing moves, more than creating them. He is a finisher.”
Marcelo then added “He has good characteristics to combine with his teammates, to play in this side and give more options. He is a complete player.” It’ll be interesting to see how English starlet’s done once his time on loan at Leeds has come to an end, and whether it’ll be enough to convince Unai Emery to include in him in his first-team plans.
If one thing’s for sure, Eddie’s got a glimmering future in football ahead of him if his start to life at Leeds is anything to go off. Nketiah has a vast potential and can become a top-class centre-forward if he continuous improvement.
