Alexandre Lacazette discussed his relationship with his teammate Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang after the pair combined to help the Gunners to defeat Cardiff City last night.
The Frenchman proved to be the decisive factor between the two clubs on the day as he turned in a man of the match performance. Lacazette recorded an assist and scored the winning goal, helping the North London club to three important points.
France international forwards partner in crime, Gabon striker, operated in a wider role, however, remained influential. The Frenchman laid the ball on for his teammate, who curled the ball home to net the Gunners second goal.
Speaking to Sky Sports after the 3-2 victory to the Welsh club Cardiff City, as quoted in a report from Goal, Lacazette hailed his relationship with former Dortmund star.
“If we are well off the pitch it is easier for us to play on the pitch. For me, it was important to start well. I wanted to prove to the coach that I can be in the first 11.
“I think I did that and I’m happy.”
