Barcelona are plotting a move for Chelsea winger Willian with the star’s future currently hanging in the air, the reports say.

Willian is one of the Blues’ longest-serving players, and has been a mainstay for the west London outfit over the last six seasons.

Since joining from Russian outfit Anzhi Makhachkala for £30 million in August 2013, the 30-year-old has gone on to make 292 matches, winning a host of accolades.

But his time at Chelsea could soon be up. The South American star has just one year left to run on his deal.

And new Blues manager Frank Lampard is yet to green light a contract extension for the Brazil international.

It’s thought that Frank will make a decision on his future once he has seen him in training.

The star is yet to be a part of the Blues’ pre-season preparations having earned a late call-up to his country’s Copa America winning squad.

Chelsea return from their tour of Japan next week, with the tricky attacker set to join them then.

And the Sun reports that Frank is yet to rubber-stamp a new contract as he wants to see how the player fits in to his plans for the campaign.

Blaugrana are long-term admirers of him and had a bid rejected for Wilian in January. The Catalan giants are also considering the future of several of their attackers.

The Brazilian star duo Malcom and Philippe Coutinho have been connected with summer moves to the Premier League.
