Miralem Pjanic says Paul Pogba would be ‘welcome’ back at Juventus and that supporters ‘dream’ of him returning.
The Frenchman spent five years in Turin after leaving Manchester United back in 2011, but he returned to Old Trafford for a world record fee back in 2016.
Paul Pogba, though, is contemplating his future at the club after falling out with the manager and being left out of the Portuguese’s starting eleven in recent weeks.
Juventus have been heavily linked with a move for the Frenchman, and Miralem Pjanic has fueled speculation by admitting Paul Pogba is ‘welcome’ back at Turin.
‘It’s the dream of our fans,’ said Pjanic. ‘The club has signed some amazing players and are thinking of improving the team even more. He would be welcome again here.’
Paul Pogba has three-and-a-half-years left on his Manchester United contract, and it is claimed the Red Devils will not listen to offers for the £89 million signing.
Jose Mourinho has already stated that the 25-year-old will start against Valencia in the Champions League but will need an eye-catching display to earn a place in Sunday’s starting eleven to face Liverpool.
