Liverpool are reportedly pessimistic over having club captain Jordan Henderson fit for the start of next campaign. During Wednesday’s win over Brighton & Hove Albion in the English top-tier, Henderson was replaced after suffering a knee problem. The Merseyside Reds head-coach Jurgen Klopp has already acknowledged that the team skipper is unlikely to play any part of the club’s remaining four fixtures in the top-tier. According to The Mirror, the Merseyside Reds are fearful that the England international will also not be ready to make a return to action for the beginning of the next season. The report claims that the Merseyside Reds expect scans to show that the 30-year-old has sustained significant knee ligament damage. Henderson has made a total of 32 appearances and four substitutes in all competitions this campaign. Meanwhile, A number of teams are interested in securing the services of Ben White from Brighton & Hove Albion this summer, according to the reports. White has spent the entirety of the current campaign on loan at Leeds United, however, his future has yet to be decided. He has played only two games for the Seagulls and it seems as though he will be making a move in the summer. Football Insider claims that intermediaries working on behalf of the English top-tier team have told potential suitors that he would be valued at £35 million to buy this summer.
