Arsenal winger Alex Iwobi has revealed that he and his fellow teammates are keen on for Welsh playmaker Aaron Ramsey to stay at the club next campaign, with the former Cardiff star’s future with the Gunners up in the air, according to the reports.
Ramsey’s deal with the team expires at the end of the current season, with Premier League rivals Merseyside Reds and numerous team in Europe keeping tabs on the midfielder’s situation.
The box-to-box midfielder has played over 300 games for the Gunners, winning three FA Cup’s under Arsene Wenger.
The 27-year-old, who has spent term years at the club since arriving from Cardiff featured in every Premier League game under Emery.
Talking to BT Sport, Iwobi said:
“He’s a great player. When I was breaking into the first team, I always used to watch and learn things for him. I am still doing that today.
“It would be a great miss if he goes but hopefully he can stay. We all want him to stay. Hopefully it can get sorted.”
