Bordeaux centre-forward Malcom revealed that he’s not held talks with Premier League giants Liverpool and Manchester United despite recent reports suggesting him as the next Brazilian talent to join English football.
The 19-year-old attacker has joined Bordeaux from Corinthians during the January transfer window in a £5m deal, he has already scored 5 goals in 30 appearances and attracted interest from top Premier League clubs.
Speculation in Malcom’s native Brazil has linked forward with a move to Liverpool and Manchester United.
However, the Brazilian forward revealed that he knows nothing about the interest from Premier League.
‘This thing about Liverpool (and) Manchester – I don’t know anything about it,’ said Malcom.
‘I’m very calm, I only think about Bordeaux today. I want to do my job well and give French fans lots of joy.
‘I got to know, yeah, that Sampaoli (Sevilla boss) likes my football, my game style. If the opportunity shows up, I’ll be happy. If it doesn’t, I’ll keep working hard, humble as always.’
Another Brazilian starlet Liverpool has been linked is Gabigol who has failed to settle in Serie A and could be on his way out from Inter Milan in the summer.
