Man United winger Jesse Lingard who has been handed his England debut has backed his compatriot Marcus Rashford to have a successful career.
Rashford has been one of the most talented players in Europe at the moment after making his debut under Louis Van Gaal against Mityuland at Europe League competition.
The 18-year-old forward since making his first team debut in February, become one of the key players for Man United and being also recieved a call up on international level where he has continued to shine.
However, Lingard is believed that his teammate has yet shown his full potential and people will be amazed what this lad could do on the pitch.
‘I haven’t seen him [Rashford] fazed at all. He’s got a love for the game and every day he’s got a ball at his feet,’ Lingard revealed ahead of the pair’s match against Malta for England the match that has been finished with the victory of Southgate’s side 2-0.
‘He’s still young as well so I think things are coming together for him just right at the moment and hopefully he can carry it on. Over the months he has matured a lot from making his debut to now.
‘He’s gained a lot of experience at international level and in the Premier League and other competitions.
‘He’s coming along nicely now but we can’t forget he’s only young. He’s still going to grow and he’s still going to get bigger. We’ll have to wait and see what he does after that.
