Chelsea have revealed that their academy graduate Callum Hudson-Odoi made an appearance in training on Tuesday as the forward continues his recovery from Achilles injury that he has suffered against Burnley back on April 22 with surgery subsequently taking place later that week.
The initial suggestion was that Englishman would be out of action until January, at a time when the teenager is still to sign a new deal at the West Londoners.
However, it appears that the 18-year-old forward is ahead of schedule having trained with the Blues squad at Cobham on Tuesday and expected to be fully ready after the international break in September.

Hudson-Odoi could come into contention for a place in the first-team after he will end his rehabilitation.
Meanwhile, Chelsea head-coach Frank Lampard has been given a welcome boost with the news that German centre-back Antonio Rudiger is ready to player first-team football after a long knee injury.
The German has been on the sidelines since April following a knee injury that he suffered during the Blues 1-1 draw with Manchester United.
Lampard has paired Andreas Christensen and Kurt Zouma so far this season, however, the duo have looked shaky as the Blues have shipped seven goals in their first three games of the season.
Rudiger played 90 minutes in the Blues U23 clash with Liverpool on Monday and the German is keen on to start against Norwich City this weekend.
