Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain is considering a year-long loan swoop for Chelsea’s holding midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko with a probable purchase option, Goal.com reports.
Bakayoko did not start off well at the BLues and his poor start to life in the British capital saw him being sent out on loan to the Serie A outfit AC Milan.
Bakayoko endured a difficult start at Rossoneri too under the Italian manager Gennaro Gattuso but eventually found his game and started performing well.
However, this did not see him bag a permanent senior-team place and the Italian club didn’t opt to buy the player.
Back at Chelsea, the French star has started training under new head coach Frank Lampard but his long-term future at the club still seems unresolved.
Bakayoko has displayed interest in playing for the Paris-based outfit one day and said that he himself being from Paris is a huge supporter of the club and that his family and he are “real Parisians” and that it would mean a lot to his family if he played for his hometown club.
Tiemoue still has a three-year contract left at Stamford Bridge and played in the second half for the Blues in their pre-season match win against Bohemians in Dublin and is also a part of the team that faces Kawasaki Frontale and FC Barcelona in Japan.
Meanwhile, Chelsea are determined to have Germany international Antonio Rudiger fit and prepared for their clash versus Wolverhampton Wanderers in September, according to a report from the Daily Mail,
