Everton have reportedly placed a £35m price-tag on their defensive midfielder Idrissa Gueye, who is believed to be a target of Man Utd.
The 29-year-old midfielder has just reached the end of his third season with the Toffees, with playing 99 games in the Premier League during that time.
However, the 29-year-old has been frequently rumoured with a move away from the Merseyside Blues, and the Toffees had to turn down offers from PSG at the start of 2019.
According to the Liverpool Echo, Everton have now decided that they are only prepared to let their star player to leave the club for £35m.
The Red Devils have been rumoured with Gueye since the end of the current campaign, however, it has been suggested that they have no desire to meet the price tag of the midfielder.
Gueye still has three years left on his current deal with Everton and it gives them an edge in the negotiations.
Manchester United have already left short in the midfield area after the exit of Marouane Fellaini back in January and Ander Herrera who has announced his departure from Old Trafford ahead of the 2019/20 season and Gueye seems to be an ideal replacement for the Spaniard,
Gueye has been one of the best defensive midfielders in the Premier League and could help Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side to compete for all possible trophies next season.
