Arsenal are reportedly ahead of league rivals Chelsea for the transfer of Bournemouth winger Ryan Fraser this summer transfer window.
According to the Independent, Unai Emery’s side are preparing to firm up their rumoured interest in Scotland international after the UEFA Europa League final versus Chelsea.
The Independent also link Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool as having registered an interest in Fraser, and it seems he could be a great fit for their style of play, though the transfer looks less likely as German coach would supposedly not be able to offer the player as much regular game time.
According to football.london, Maurizio Sarri’s side have also expressed some level of interest in the 25-year-old star, though not as strong as the Gunners.
Still, Ryan could be a useful acquisition for the Blues as well, with concerns over Eden Hazard’s future in the summer and with Ryan finishing joint top of the EPL on assists this campaign.
If Arsenal do win the hunt for this fine signing, it could be perfect for the start of their rebuilding project next campaign, with the north London outfit still some way behind their rivals in a host of areas.
Unai Emery could undoubtedly have expected more from Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Mesut Ozil and Alex Iwobi this campaign, so Fraser may be just the upgrade required at the Emirates Stadium.
Meanwhile, Reading forward Danny Loader is reportedly targeted by Chelsea this summer.
The Blues have appeared as potential suitors for the talent, according to a report from Goal, who state he could depart the Royals ahead of next term.
