West Ham United are reportedly keen on to keep Issa Diop and will demand at least £75million from Manchester United for the Frenchman.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is desperate to strengthen his defensive options in the summer and the Red Devils have been frustrated by Leicester City’s £90m asking price for Maguire.
The 22-year-old defender has joined the Hammers in a £22m deal from French club, Toulouse in 2018 and has had an impressive debut season in east London, where he formed a good partnership with Balbuena.
The Frenchman was praised by former Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho following the Hammers’ 3-1 win against the Red Devils back in October.
Reports in France claimed that the Red Devils have placed £40m bid plus an unnamed player for Diop however, it was turned down by the London club.
The Hammers are under no financial pressure to sell the Frenchman and the Mirror claim it will take £75m to convince them to sell the 22-year-old centre-back.
Liverpool paid £75m for Virgil van Dijk that has been a record for the defender back in 2018 and has value has since skyrocketed following his stunning form for the Merseyside Reds.
The Hammers are believed to have cheekily requested Anthony Martial in a player-plus-cash deal.
The Red Devils have made just one signing so far this summer and Daniel James has joined them from Championship club Swansea City for £18m transfer fee.
