Atletico Madrid midfielder Thomas Partey is confident that he will remain at Wanda Metropolitano stadium after being rumoured with a switch to Manchester United and Arsenal.
The 25-year-old midfield destroyer has established himself as one of the key players for Diego Simeone’s side and following his fine form in La Liga he has attracted interest from top teams in Europe including Arsenal and Manchester United.
The Premier League pair have been rumoured with a move for African midfielder as both teams are in the market for reinforcements, ahead of the summer transfer window. Ghanaian midfielder, meanwhile, has a €50 million (£43m) release clause in his current deal with Atletico which runs until 2023.
However, the Ghana international revealed that he would be reluctant to depart from Diego Simeone’s side.
‘I’ve grown up in Atleti and I am sure I will stay here,’ Parety told Cadena COPE.
‘I don’t know of another place that will understand how I play like they do here.’
Meanwhile, Man Utd and Arsenal may be able to secure the services of AC Milan winger Suso this summer, according to the latest reports from Italy.
Recent reports have rumoured both Premier League giants with a move for the Spanis winger, who has been valued at €38million which is making the Milan management sweat.
The Spaniard has left Anfield back in January 2015 and has since become a key man at San Siro, becoming arguably their creative force under Gennaro Gattuso who currently sit fourth in the Serie A table.
Despite amassing a combined 13 goals and assists through the first 27 Serie A appearences so far this campaign, Suso has just one goal and one assist since the November.
