Arsenal have missed out on the signing of PSG wonderkid Yacine Adli after he signed a new deal with the French giants.
The 17-year-old versatile midfielder is considered to be one of the brightest talents in Europe and made his senior debut last term under Unai Emery at PSG.
The Spaniard was keen to take Adli with him to the North London club and the teenager was spotted in the capital last month as he held talks with the Gunners over a potential move to the Emirates Stadium.

The North London club had been confident of securing the services Adli and even gave him assurances over appearances in the starting lineup if he opted to join the Emirates Stadium.
However, PSG confirmed today that Adli had signed a new deal and the teenager described it as a ‘dream come true’. ‘It’s a pride and a dream come true. But this is only a first step,’ said Adli.
‘I still have a lot of work to do because I aspire to new levels.
“My goal is to meet the first-team most often and to do my utmost to participate in as many sessions as possible.’
