La Liga leaders Barcelona have signed Arsenal rising star Marcus McGuane for an undisclosed fee, according to the BBC reports.
The 18-year-old midfielder has made two appearances for the Gunners first team in the Europa League game this campaign.
The Catalan club intend to play him in their Barcelona B team and have set the buy-out clause 25m euros (£21.9m) release clause in his three-year contract.
McGuane, who has played for England under-17s, U18s and U19s, joined the Gunners at the age of 6 and now he will try to continue his development at Barcelona.
His contract was due to run out in the summer and he is reported to have turned down a new deal.
