Liverpool have reportedly been successful with their £66.8m bid for AS Roma goalkeeper Alisson according to the reports from Italy.
Chelsea and Real Madrid have also been rumoured with an approach for the 25-year-old Brazilian keeper who has been on the verge to become Liverpool’s club record signing.
Chelsea meanwhile have been in danger to lose Thibaut Courtois as Belgian star has agreed on personal terms with European champions Real Madrid.
Earlier on Wednesday, it was reported that Liverpool have upped their efforts to sign Brazilian keeper, who has been identified as Klopp’s No.1 transfer target since Champions League final.
According to BBC Sport, Roma have opted to accept Liverpool’s £66.8m offer for their star player despite their desire to keep Brazilian at Stadio Olimpico.
Manager Jurgen Klopp has publicly backed Loris Karius, however, it appears that the German keeper will at least be relegated to the substitutes’ should Alisson sign for Liverpool.
Alisson has spent the last two campaigns at the Stadio Olimpico, with making a total 64 appearances in all competitions.
