Chelsea and Manchester United are one of several Premier League teams keeping a close eye on Middlesbrough starlet Dael Fry, according to the Daily Mail reports.
The 20-year-old defender has been catching the eye of top-flight clubs following an impressive beginning of the 2017/18 season with Boro. Fry has already made 9 appearances for the Championship outfits and become one of the key players for them.
The 20-year-old’s efforts at this early stage of the season have already been rewarded, too. He was called up to the England U-21 team last week and will look to impress on the international stage shortly.
However, if the Blues are to secure the services of Fry, they will need to fend off competition from their Premier League rivals Manchester United and Everton.
The Boro centre-back has helped the England Under-20 side to claim the World Cup title this summer and is continuing to show his skills for Middlesbrough in the Championship.
Meanwhile, Chelsea and Manchester United continue the chase for AS Roma midfielder Radja Nainggollan who could be open to leave the Italian giants this summer if they fail to claim any titles.
