Former Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez’s time at Manchester United looks to be coming to an end after Chilean forward agreed on personal terms with Serie A giants, Inter Milan.
The 30-year-old has made a switch to the 20-times English champions in 2018 in a swap deal involving Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
The Red Devils handed the ex-Arsenal man record wages of around £400,000-a-week, however, he’s managed just five league goals since his move to Old Trafford.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer appeared to give hope to Chilean by claiming that he still has chance to the player for the Red Devils. However, the Norwegian still is keen on to get rid off his insane wages.
And Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Chilean forward has agreed to make a move to Serie A giants Inter Milan in the last 24 hours and hopes to finalise a move to the San Siro in the coming days.
Sanchez’s agent is now believed to be in the UK to present an offer from Serie A giants, Inter Milan to United, which is believed to be a loan deal with an option to make his move permanent.
It’s unclear whether the Red Devils will accept the offer, nor whether Serie A giants will fully cover Chileans wages.
The Copa America winning forward is not expected to be in the Red Devils squad for Monday’s games against Wolves as he’s three weeks behind on his fitness following his participation in the Copa America.
It’s claimed that Antonio Conte’s side will make a move for another experienced attacker Fernando Llorente should a move for Sanchez fall through.
However, they remain intent on securing the services of Manchester United forward.
