Chelsea planning to make an offer for Eden Hazard £300,000-a-week in their bid to keep him at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues will hold talks with Belgian superstar after he returns from holiday on Monday.
According to the Sunday Times, that Chelsea will table a huge bumper deal to dissuade him from making the switch to La Liga giants Real Madrid.
Belgium international goalkeeper who starred for his country at the World Cup, has strongly linked with the move to European champions and makes no secret of his desire to wear a famous white shirt one day.
He has two years left on his current deal, however, the Blues would rather cash in on the Belgian forward than let him enter the final year of his current deal.
However, the Los Blancos have reportedly been put off by Belgians £200m price tag and their interest seems to have cooled.
Chelsea head-coach Maurizio Sarri told the media he is yet to speak with the 26-year-old forward about his future, although the two have been in contact.
“We didn’t talk about this (a transfer),” Sarri said.
“We talked only about ‘can I arrive (back at training) on Monday instead of Sunday?’ In this moment there is no problem for Hazard.
