Chelsea and Liverpool have reportedly decided to join crowded race for European football’s top teams and secure services of Luka Jovic as both Premier League giants keen on to strengthen their offensive end ahead of the next season.

The 21-year-old forward has emerged as one of the most sought-after forwards in Europe at the moments with the Benfica man is enjoying a stunning loan spell at Bundesliga outfits  Eintracht Frankfurt  where he has managed to found back of the net 14 times and providing three assists in 19 appearances in the Germany top-tier.

The German club are expected to use the clause in his deal and sign Jovic on a permanent basis in the summer, however, that will not stop a bidding war taking place for the services of prolific Serbian forward.

According to the sources from Britain, the Blues have opted to try to win the battle for Luka Jovic by lodging summer bid in the region of £39m for his signature.

La Liga giants Atletico Madrid and Barcelona have also been strongly linked with securing the services of 21-year-old forward, while Paris Saint-Germain also considers a move for his signature as they see him as an ideal replacement for Edinson Cavani.

Chelsea are in need for a world-class forward that will help them to compete for the Premier League trophy next season, while Liverpool are playing with a nominal centre-forward with Roberto Firmino has been used as false no.9 by Jurgen Klopp.
