Chelsea have reportedly identified La Liga outfits Valencia forward Goncalo Guedes as Eden Hazard’s long-term replacement and have offered around £62m for the former PSG attacker.
According to Plaza Deportiva, the West London club have made the offer for the forward through his super agent Jorge Mendes.
Portugal international forward was one of Valencia’s standout performers last campaign, helping the team to a fourth-place finish in the Spanish top-tier as well as the last four in the Europa League.
The 22-year-old forward, who has managed to found back of the net eight times and provided four assists for La Liga club last campaign, was also the hero for Portugal in the Nations League final game against the Netherlands, with his second-half strike helped Fernando Santos side to secure place in the Euro 2020.
Chelsea have been banned for making the transfer in the next two window, however, the West London club have appealed to the Court of Arbitration for Sport over the ruling.
In a best-case scenario, the Blues will have their two-window transfer ban frozen ahead of the 2019/20 season meaning they can complete a potential deal for the 22-year-old forward who has been valued around £62m by the Spanish club.
