Inter Milan have reportedly indicated that they remain keen to sign out-of-favour Chelsea wing-back Davide Zappacosta.
Earlier this month, it was reported that Serie A giants were considering an approach for the Italian full-back, who only left Italy for the Blues at the end of last campaign..
According to Sky Sports News, the player’s representatives have already met with agents from Inter in an attempt to get transfer finalised in the coming weeks.
As it stands, it is unclear whether Chelsea are looking to sell the 26-year-old Wideman, or are open to a season-long loan agreement with an option to buy him next summer.
The report suggested, however, that the Blues will expect to receive £17.5m for Italian full-back, which would represent a loss of more than £5m on a player who has only made 23 starts for Antonio Conte’s this term helping the Blues to claim the FA Cup trophy.
Zappacosta still has three years left on his contract deal at Stamford Bridge and Inter Milan should splash the money to lure him back to the Serie A.
