Manchester United head-coach Jose Mourinho has reportedly retained an interest in Brazilian forward Willian and will push ahead with a £60m (€68,7m) offer for 29-year-old Chelsea Star.
Mourinho, who brought Willian at Stamford Bridge from Ukrainian club Shakhtar Donetsk five years ago is believed to be keen on to be reunited with the player at Old Trafford.
According to the Daily Mail, the Red Devils intend to pounce on Willian’s uncertain future at Stamford Bridge by making an approach for 29-year-old forward in the upcoming summer transfer window.
Willian will be offered a new bumper deal by Man Utd to help force an exit from Stamford Bridge, with the 29-year-old already unhappy with his limited time under Antonio Conte.
However, the ex-Shakhtar Donetsk forward was still named the Blues Players’ Player of the Year for 2017-18 season, and it is reported that Chelsea will be reluctant to offload him to their direct Premier League rivals.
Meanwhile, Chelsea are keen on to sign 22-year-old French winger Anthony Martial as a replacement for Willian if he departs from Stamford Bridge.
