Chelsea will not let their prized asset Kurt Zouma leave the team for anything less than £30 million, according to the sources from Britain.
The talented Frenchman has emerged as a top transfer target for Everton after his impressive season-long loan spell at Goodison Park and Marko Silva seems to be keen on to work with 24-year-old defender once again.
Zouma has moved away from West London club in an attempt to player regular first-team football in the English top-tier and struck up a strong partnership with Michael Keane at the back for Marco Silva’s side.
The Merseyside Blues are now pursuing a permanent contract offer for the player; however, if the BBC is to be believed, they will have to break the bank to secure the services of talented Frenchman.
The Blues will only welcome offers worth around £30 million fee for the French defender, however, a decision on his future will not be made until he meets with new Chelsea boss Frank Lampard who has replaced Maurizio Sarri who made move to Serie A.
Meanwhile, Chelsea full-back Marcos Alonso has reportedly informed Atletico Madrid that he is open to making a return to the Spanish capital for the next season.
Atletico Madrid are believed to be in the market for a new defender this summer with Lucas Hernandez being sold to Bayern Munich and Filipe Luis is been tipped to leave the Wandametropolitano for free.
The capital outfit have been rumoured with Leicester City’s left-back Ben Chilwell, however, it has been reported that, contrary to reports, that the Spanish club have not made an offer for the England international defender.
According to Marca, Alonso has told Atletico Madrid that he is open of making move to Wanda Metropolitano and it will now be up to Diego Simeone’s side to make an official approach for his signature.
