Serie A champions Juventus have offered Gonzalo Higuain to Chelsea in a bid to lure Alvaro Morata at Allianz Stadium, according to reports.
Juve want to re-sign Spanish forward Alvaro Morata this summer and have already opened transfer talks with Premier League giants.
The Blues may be convinced to sell Spaniard to use the funds to buy an elite centre-forward ahead of the new season.
Juventus paid £75.3milion for Argentine international forward in the summer of 2016 after he enjoyed the record-breaking season at Napoli.
Higuain has helped Juventus to claim back-to-back Serie A trophies, however, the Evening Standard reports the Italians have made contact with Chelsea to Swap Argentine forward for Alvaro Morata after Higuain scored 23 goals in 50 games last season.
Chelsea have already rejected an approach from Serie A champions to bring Spaniard to the club on a two-year loan deal.
Selling Argentine forward to Chelsea would seemingly solve the Blues’ problem of losing their No.1 forward, however, the West London club rarely invests heavily in players over the age of 30.
However, with Maurizio Sarri has been strongly linked with a switch to Stamford Bridge the deal could get done with Italian manager wants to work with Higuain once again.
