Chelsea are reportedly planning to make a £36m bid for PSV Eindhoven winger Hirving Lozano in January.
Chelsea head-coach Maurizio Sarri has previously dropped hint that he is looking to bring in wide attacking reinforcements this month, and Lozano is believed to be near the top of his list of potential targets this transfer window.
The 23-year-old forward has already found back of the net 15 times in all competitions to help PSV Eindhoven to the top of the Eredivisie table, and Calciomercato reported that the Blues are now lining up an official approach for his signature.
Chelsea have already secured the £58m signature of The USA international forward Christian Pulisic this month, but he will spend the remainder of the season on loan at Dortmund before linking up with the Blues in the summer.
Sarri is keen for more immediate attacking options, although he is likely to face competition for Lozano’s signature from Serie A giants Napoli and AC Milan.
Lozano has featured at last summer’s World Cup for Mexico, where he was one of the most standout performers of the tournament.
