Chelsea have been linked with a shock summer move for Barcelona superstar Luis Suarez.
Former Barcelona manager Luis Enrique has been tipped to take over Antonio Conte’s job for the next season and reports from Spain suggested that ex-Barca boss would try to lure Luis Suarez to Stamford Bridge.
Journalist Eduardo Inda told El Chiringuito TV that Enrique is in pole position to take over Antonio Conte’s job.
The Spaniard has won nine major trophies with Barcelona and he was responsible for bringing Suarez to Nou Camp back in 2014 from Liverpool in a deal that worth £65 million.
Suarez was a big hit in England, founding the net 82 times in 133 games for Liverpool.
Since his transfer to Barcelona South American no.9 has notched a further 140 goals in 178 games for the Catalans and still has three years left on his current deal.
The 31-year-old is believed to be happy at the Nou Camp, although Barcelona have been linked with signing world-class centre-forwards.
Atletico Madrid superstar Antoine Griezmann is heavily fancied to sign for the Catalan club this summer, while Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has also appeared to be on top of Ernesto Valverde’s wishlist.
