A number of Premier League clubs are on high alert after Ligue 1 outfits Bordeaux have confirmed highly-rated forward Malcom is set to leave the club after the end of the current campaign.
Chelsea and Arsenal were all strongly linked with January moves for Malcom and are expected to revive their interest in South American forward after the end of the season.
The 67-year-old manager was keen on to bring Malcom to the Emirates as a direct replacement for Alexis Sanchez who has made move to Manchester United.
London rivals Spurs and Chelsea are also interested in securing the services of Malcom.
Brazilian forward has made no secret of his desire to leave in the summer and Nicolas de Tavernost has fueled rumours by stating that Malcom could leave the club this summer.
While he did not name Malcom in quotes reported by L’Equipe, De Tavernost said: ‘There is a major player from Brazil who you know wants to leave the club and we will do that in all of our interests.
‘It is the reason we bought this player in the first place, to eventually sell him in between seasons.”
