Spanish giants Sevilla are reportedly confident that they will be successful in their attempts to lure Belgian forward Michy Batshuayi on loan from defending Premier League champions, Chelsea.
The 24-year-old forward has struggled to make a significant impact at Chelsea since his £33m move from Marseille back in 2016.
In total this campaign, the Belgian attacker has made 19 appearances in all competitions, but only two of those outings were Premier League starts.
Despite his bit-part role, Belgian forward has still managed to found the net for seven times, however, according to ESPN, the Blues boss Antonio Conte is willing to offload Batshuayi to Sevilla on loan if he can find a replacement.
One man who could be a perfect replacement for Batshuayi has been West Ham United towering forward Andy Carroll, whose club fear that the hitman will force an exit from the London stadium.
Meanwhile, Chelsea have recently joined the race for Alexis Sanchez and alongside with Manchester United they are both frontrunners to secure the services of Chilean superstar
Chelsea have reportedly made a late move for Chilean superstar Alexis Sanchez, who has been rumoured with a switch to Man Utd.
Man City were in the driving seat to secure the services of Alexis Sanchez, who will be eligible to leave Arsenal for free at the end of the current campaign if he remains at Emirates Stadium.
There were widespread suggestions that Chile international forward would love to play under Pep Guardiola, however, in the last few days things have been changed and now the Citizens direct rivals Man Utd are frontrunners to secure his services alongside with Chelsea.
According to the Manchester Evening News, Man City have dropped out of the race as they refusing to pay £20m for Chilean forward, not agree to a huge £400,000-a-week salary, which the Red Devils are believed to be willing to offer for one of the best players in the Premier League.
The sane sources claimed that Antonio Conte’s side have now made their interest known, and as a result, they are believed to be ready to pay a £35m fee as Arsenal consider potential deals.
The Red Devils are also reportedly open to offering former Borussia Dortmund midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan in a player-plus-cash arrangement.
Chelsea are eyeing up a move for Barcelona’s attacking midfielder Denis Suarez as a potential replacement for Michy Batshuayi who is closing in on a move to Sevilla.
The Belgium international forward is a regular benchwarmer for the defending Premier League champions and is likely to want a move in January to give himself a shot to getting in Belgium’s FIFA 2018 World Cup squad.
The Blues are believed to be open to letting him go on loan – however, they have to sign a quality replacement first.
And it’s reported that they’ve now identified Barcelona star to come in, although not as a like-for-like replacement.
Ian McGarry said on the latest episode of The Transfer Window podcast: “Chelsea have been looking to add more firepower since the summer window.
“Antonio Conte was prepared to give Michy Batshuayi a chance to prove himself but that’s proven not to have worked out.
“If Batshuayi wants to leave in order to prove himself for a place in Belgium’s squad at the World Cup, then that would happen, as long as Chelsea can get someone in.
“What they haven’t found in a natural goalscoring striker and instead have turned their attention to a Barcelona player who is available for transfer – Denis Suarez.
Meanwhile, Chelsea are also closing in on a deal for Arsenal superstar Alexis Sanchez who is desperate to leave the Emirates Stadium in the nearby future.
