Kepa Arrizabalaga was dropped for Chelsea’s last two league fixtures against Manchester United and Leicester City.
There have been various reports suggesting Frank Lampard no longer relies on the Spaniard and Chelsea could be watching to bring in a new goalkeeper in the summer.
Udinese’s Juan Musso has reportedly emerged as one of the top targets along with Ajax’s André Onana.
Regarding André Onana, Sport explains Barcelona are interested in the 23-year-old goalkeeper. They view him as a backup for Marc-André ter Stegen because last summer’s joining, Neto, hasn’t convinced the Camp Nou leaders.
It’s claimed the Cameroon international ace will leave Ajax in the summer and Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu has already held discussions with him during the Ballon d’Or gala. Any approach from the La Liga winners to sign the keeper will see them face obstacles.
Ajax have set €40m as a starting point for discussions. The other problem for Barca is Chelsea.
According to the report, the Stamford Bridge club are the ‘main favourite’ to sign the Ajax player. Frank Lampard’s side are ready to get rid of Kepa and are willing to ‘push hard’ for Andre Onana.
Sport also states Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United are candidates, but they have Keylor Navas and David de Gea respectively as their first-choice goalkeepers.
