Premier League giants Chelsea are reportedly ready to join Tottenham Hotspur in the transfer race to secure services of Real Madrid winger Gareth Bale.
The Wales international is currently in his sixth season at Santiago Bernabeu, however, the return of Zidane could lead to the rumours over 29-year-old forwards exit this summer.
Welshmen is believed to be happy with life in Spain capital, however, according to Don Balon, Chelsea and Tottenham are not ready to accept failure in luring the former Spurs star back in the Premier League.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side appears keen to make a high-profile addition when the summer transfer window will be re-opened and Bale is believed to not favour a return to his former club which gives the Blues advantage in the race.
However, the same sources claim that the West London club also appear outsiders to secure Bale, although the attacker could potentially be used in a swap deal involving Eden Hazard.
Real Madrid forward has just over three years left on his current deal at the European champions and his future is unlikely to continue at Santiago Bernabeu in the summer with Eden Hazard has been a top target in the transfer window as his replacement.
