Chelsea are reportedly keen on attacker Antonio Marin from the Croatian top-flight club Dinamo Zabgreg.
According to a report by Sky Sports, the Blues are chasing the highly-rated 18-year-old following his emergence in the main Dinamo team.
The report explains that Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City are also monitoring the youngster, while La Liga side Villarreal are eyeing the player too.
Marin has played four senior matches across all competitions so far this campaign and also played in the UEFA Youth League recently, where the star managed an assist against Manchester City’s Under-19s side.
The left-wing attacker is renowned as a trickster that is strong off both feet and is being tipped for a big future in the game.
He has represented his country up to the Under-21 age group and his displays have done enough to catch the attention of the Blues’ scouts.
The speed machine is being integrated into the Dinamo senior team and it will be intriguing to see if Antonio can replicate his trickery on the big stage during the upcoming season.
Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has a pool of young talents to select from the team and young players across the globe would certainly love to be at the club right now.
Academy graduates Reece James and Callum Hudson-Odoi have just returned from injury to boost the first squad, where they will already find young teammates such as Tammy Abraham, Mason Mount and Fikayo Tomori impressing.
Antonio is a rising star in Europe that has caught the eye of Chelsea, but he’s still a fairly inexperienced talent improving his game in Croatia.
