Arsenal set to hijack Chelsea and Real Madrid for Benfica forward Luka Jovic.
According to the reports from Spain, Jovic who has be on loan has attracted interest from hosts of European teams including the London duo Arsenal and Chelsea.
Spanish media outlet Marca is reporting that the North London club are interested in a potential summer deal for Serbian forward who has impressed for Eintracht Frankfurt managing to score 21-goals in 32-games this season.
The same article states that Unai Emery has been a huge fan of the striker to has been nicknamed as “Serbian Falcao”.
According to the same story, Arsenal have identified Josvic as an ideal replacement for Danny Welbeck this summer.
Marca add that Chelsea are also monitoring Serbian forward, while Champions League holders Los Blancos have also been rumoured with a move for 21-year-old attacker.
Emery is believed to be eager to strengthen his attacking options ahead of the next season and Jovic seems to be an ideal candidate following his prolific campaign in the Bundesliga.
The Gunners are in fifth place in the Premier League table, while Chelsea are six and only two points separating them from the top-four finish and it could give advantage eighter of them if they somehow manager to qualify for the Champions League football.
The North London club will welcome Man United to The Emirates next Sunday in their race for the top four finish and it also gives Chelsea hope to sit on the fourth place after the gameweek 30.
