Eden Hazard could be replaced at Chelsea by Adama Traore, as the Blues are eyeing a shock swoop for the Middlesbrough ace if Belgian leaves this summer. Chelsea’s transfer policy is under scrutiny as they are still working out what to do with Antonio Conte.
They are set to name Maurizio Sarri on a two-year deal once the compensation pay-out has been agreed with Antonio Conte, but many star players could be on the market with Hazard taking interest from Real Madrid, and a cut-price option will be perfect for the Premier League giants.
But Chelsea are not alone in the race for Adama Traore as Paris St-Germain along with other Premier League clubs are keen on signing the youngster. The reason of massive interest is the £18 million release clause included in his contract which is active because Middlesbrough didn’t’ get promoted.
The west London club see Adama Traore as a potential signing if they have to sell Willian or Eden Hazard. He is certainly not an upgrade on either of those attackers, as the Spanish winger, who started his career at Barcelona, will need a lot of development.
