Chelsea are among a host of Premier League teams who have been keeping tabs on the performances of highly-rated attacking midfielder Mykola Shaparenko at Dynamo Kyiv, according to the report from Britain.
The West London club are currently serving a two-window transfer ban, which means they will be unable to sign players until the next 2020/21 season.
However, it seems they are still keeping tabs on possible targets ahead of the embargo being lifted, and Dynamo Kyiv Shaparenko is the latest man to be rumoured with a potential switch to Chelsea and he has been valued at £15m.
The Blues are not alone in their apparent interest, though. Premier League rivals Arsenal have also expressed interest in Ukrainian sensation, while another London club, West Ham United might try to lure him in the Premier League this summer.
The highly-rated midfielder is not an unfamiliar face to the Blues. He was a part of the Dynamo side that locked horns with the Blues in the round of 16 of the Europe League competition.
Shaparenko has caught the eye with some fine displays for his squad and typically operates in an attacking option.
Unlike Chelsea. Arsenal are capable to make additions this summer and it gives advantage to the Norht London club to get the deal done for the Ukrainian wonderkid.
