Everton are reportedly still interested in securing the services of Inter Milan playmaker Matias Vecino.
The Toffees were heavily linked with the Uruguay international midfielder during the winter transfer window, however, were unable to get a deal over the line.
The Blues are believed to be at the head of the queue for the 28-year-old midfielder, who has played 23 games for Antonio Conte’s side during the 2019-20 season, including 18 in Serie A top-tier.
However, according to Calciomercato, the Merseyside Blues are also preparing a summer move for the creative midfielder.
The report suggests that Inter Milan are looking for a figure in the region of €25m (£22m) even though the South American midfielder has been told that he is not in the plans of Antonio Conte moving forward.
Vecino’s current contract at San Siro will expire at the end of the 2021-22 season.
Meanwhile, Chelsea flop Tiemoue Bakayoko is reportedly ‘dreaming’ of making a move to Serie A giants AC Milan.
The 25-year-old who has joined the Blues for £40m back in 2017, however, spent only one season at the West London club before being shipped out on loan, at Serie A giants AC Milan and this season back to former team AS Monaco.
The Ligue 1 giants have an option to buy French midfielder at the end of the current campaign. However, Calciomercato reports that he is desperate to make a move to AC Milan where he has played his best football since the transfer from AS Monaco to Chelsea.
