The agent of Chelsea target Jeremie Boga has refused to say if his former club will activate their buyback clause on the Sassuolo star.
The 23-year-old forward has burst into life this campaign, his second in the Italian top-tier, founding back of the net eight times in 24 league games and providing an additional two assists.
The 23-year-old’s performance has been of interest to the Blues, who sold him to Sassuolo back in 2017, however, retained a buyback clause – and could either re-integrate the talented forward back at Stamford Bridge or sell him for a higher profit.
Several teams are queuing up for 23-year-old forward, including Premier League rivals Tottenham, as well as Everton and Brighton, while many of Serie A’s leading teams are also keen on to sign him.
The West London club hold the power if they decide to activate their option to re-sign African forward, however, his agent and brother has not been able to say whether or not that will happen.
“At this moment, I really couldn’t say,” Daniel Boga told Calciomercato.
“I had talks with Napoli, Atalanta and other European clubs. I haven’t had contact with Milan yet, so I don’t know if the reports of their interest in Jeremie are accurate.
“We always have to look at the sporting project, but Milan are a big club and can always be interesting.”
