Chelsea have reportedly being rumoured with a move for Maritimo midfield maestro Josip Vukovic.
The 26-year-old has been in stunning form this season and has attracted interest from hosts of European teams including Chelsea.
Vukovic has something of a journeyman career and has played for four teams since 2017 and now he could be also on his way to Chelsea after the season ends.
It seems as though his performances in Portuguese Primeira Liga have caught the eyes of Chelsea scouts, with TalkSPORT reported that the three Premier League clubs are interested in making move for his signature.
Besides Chelsea, Leicester City and Wolves are also tipped with a move for a versatile midfielder who could operate on the defensive and central role.
Maurizio Sarri’s side can already boast a number of strong options ahead of their defence, including N’Golo Kante and the summer arrivals Jorginho and Danny Drinkwater who has struggled to secure first-team minutes this term.
However, Maurizio Sarri is still in the process of trying to increase the depth of the Blues squad in order to compete for all possible trophies.
Meanwhile, Barcelona are planning to make a massive offer for Chelsea long-term target Saul Niguez.
According to the BBC, reports Spanish giants Barcelona are set to make a £95m bid for Atletico Madrid playmaker in order to strengthen their midfield options.
The report also suggested that he has been rumoured to Stamford Bridge giants, although they have recently been slapped with a transfer ban for the next two windows.
The Blues have appealed their transfer ban and could yet be able to secure the services of the players this summer, although nothing is certain as of yet.
AS also reported that Spanish giants would be more willing to sell Saul Niguez to the Blues over Barcelona, as they are not a domestic to rival Spanish giants.
