According to Mirror, Chelsea are the favourites to sign Middlesbrough in-form attacker Adama Traore for £30m in the summer transfer window.
The Spanish Under-21 has put in a string of impressive displays since Tony Pulis’s appointment at the Riverside, attracting attention from Premier League’s top clubs.
The 22-year-old signed for Aston Villa back in 2015 from La Liga giants Barcelona, but he only lasted one season at the club before swithing to Boro in 2016.
Adama Traore has played 60 times for the club since signing, and has scored five goals for the side during that time.
Tony Pulis’ side are close to promotion to the Premier League and that is what’s needed to entice Traore to stay at the club. However, if they fail in their attempts, the club will face a very tough battle to fend off interest from Chelsea.
Meanwhile, have slapped an £88m price tag on Paris Saint-Germain target N’Golo Kante after the Ligue 1 champions opened talks with the midfielder’s representatives.
The Frenchman has joined Chelsea for £30m in 2016 and won the PFA Player of the Year as Antonio Conte guided the Blues to the title.
However, though Kante’s impressive displays have remained consistent during his second season at the Stamford Bridge, the team’s have not and Conte is expected to depart this summer.
PSG have already announced Unai Emery’s departure and the French giants are determined to heavily invest in the squad again this summer.
