Torino are keen to sign Chelsea out-of-favour defender Davide Zappacosta in January, according to Tuttosport reports.
The Blues have signed Italy international defender from Torino during the summer transfer window of 2017, as Antonio Conte added his compatriot to his rank of wide defensive options.
However, the Italian defender has struggled to truly impose himself at Stamford Bridge, with the likes of Cesar Azpilicueta and Victor Moses both are often preferred to him at the right-back position.
Zappacosta was rumoured with a move to Inter Milan during this summer, however, remained at Stamford Bridge, as he looked to impress Maurizio Sarri following his arrival at the club.
The wing-back has played in each of the Blues three Europa League games this campaign, however, has made only one appearance in the English top-tier, which came in a brief cameo in the Blues’ 4-1 victory against Cardiff City midway through September.
The 26-year-old defender has spent two years at Torino and could be tempted by the prospect of making a return to Italian football.
