Belgian superstar Eden Hazard has acted quickly to deny reports linking him with a switch to Real Madrid this summer.
Reports in Spain this week claimed that the Chelsea forward was set to earn £270-a-week over five years at the Los Blancos after a £98million fee will be paid to the West London club.
However, Hazard himself has come out whilst during the international break to shut down the transfer rumours..
“There’s nothing in the reports. I’m only focused on [Sunday’s] game against Cyprus. That’s all I’m thinking about.”
The reports has been not a surprise, with Belgian forward is regularly flirting with the chance of working with current Rela Madrid head-coach Zinedine Zidane, and the Frenchman who has made a return to Santiago Bernabeu this month is expected to splash money for his long-term target this summer.
The Blues are currently languishing in sixth in the English top-tier and have endured a fairly miserable first campaign under Maurizio Sarri, despite reaching the final of the Carabao Cup and losing ot Man City in the penalty shootout.
Sarri has claimed that he is happy to see players that aren’t 100% invested in the team leave when they want, however, if the controversial Italian is dismissed at the end of the season it’s likely the new head-coach in charge won’t let Belgian superstar to leave the club without a fight.
