Serie A champions, Juventus waited to see whether Chelsea qualified for next season’s Champions League before making a move to Jorginho as they hoped to agree on a cut-price deal for his signature.
However, the deal has been fallen through as Frank Lamaprd’s side have secured a spot in the Champions League after a 2-0 victory against Wolves on the final day of the Premier League campaign.
The Italy international has been heavily linked with a move to the Old Lady in recent months, with the Blues believed to be open to the idea of selling him before the start of 2020/21 season.
According to Tuttosport, Juve are interested in the 28-year-old Italian playmaker, however, will wait to see whether the West London club quality for the 2020-21 Champions League before making an official approach for his signature.
The report suggests that Serie A champions, are of the opinion that it will be ‘easier’ to secure the services of the midfielder if Frank Lampard’s side had missed the chance to play in the Champions League.
Chelsea are currently fourth in the Premier League table, one point ahead of Leicester City and they will be part of the Champions League season next year.
