La Liga giants Barcelona have reportedly emerged as frontrunners to secure services of Liverpool full-back Alberto Moreno.
The Spanish left-back is currently on his way to end the fifth campaign at Anfield, however, the 26-year-old defender will be allowed to leave the Merseyside Reds at the end of his current deal in the summer.
Serie A giants Lazio have been heavily linked with an approach for the Spaniard, however, according to Sport, the Catalan club, Barcelona have moved to the front of the queue for Alberto Moreno’s signature.
The report suggested that the Catalan giants want to sign Alberto Moreno – who has played just four games this campaign – as a backup to Jordi Alba for the next season.
Moreno would be expected to earn more regular first-team football at Lazio, however, the former Sevilla man may find it difficult to turn down the opportunity to make a move to one of the best teams in the world and follow footsteps of his former teammate Philippe Coutinho.
Meanwhile, Liverpool are reportedly planning to sell African midfielder Naby Keita just a year after luring him at Anfield from RB Leipzig.
The 24-year-old versatile midfielder has joined Reds from RB Leipzig in a £48m deal last season and has played 26 games in all competitions.
Liverpool head-coach Jurgen Klopp has not been truly amazed over by the Guinea midfielder, however, and reports from Britain suggest that the Reds could try and cash in on his signature.
The Merseyside Reds are supposedly planning to take a £10m on Keita if it means they can get him off their books and sign his replacement ahead of the next campaign.
