Arsenal are willing to get David Ospina off their books by selling their third-choice goalkeeper to loan side Napoli.
The 30-year-old stopper is not part of Unai Emery’s plans following the arrival of Germany international Bernd Leno from Bayer Leverkusen in the summer transfer window in £26 million deal.
David Ospina was sent to Italy until the end of the season and has impressed manager Carlo Ancelotti during his first ten appearances for the club.
According to The Sun, the Gunners are ready to sell the Colombia international to the Partenopei for a cut-price fee of just £3.5 million during the upcoming transfer window.
South American star is understood to be keen to sign for Napoli on a permanent basis at the earliest possible opportunity as the Italian outfit is performing well both in Serie A and Champions League despite having some crucial games left against Red Star Belgrade and Liverpool.
David Ospina wanted to leave Emirates last summer, and his wish was granted by Italian side and it seems that Carlo Ancelotti will retain the Colombian’s services despite concerns over his quality.
