Leicester City winger Riyad Mahrez could be worth £100m in the summer, according to the club’s manager Claude Puel.
The 26-year-old winger has been strongly linked with a switch to Liverpool and Arsenal before the end of the January transfer window.
Algeria international forward almost left the Foxes in the summer. However, deadline day move failed to materialised and he has remained at King Power Stadium.
Since then, Puel has arrived at Leicester City he continued to claim that Mahrez will remain at the Foxes for the rest of the campaign.
And today, when asked how much Algerian worth, the Frenchman slapped a huge price tag on his head.
“Perhaps; maybe in the summer he will cost even more than £100m,” he said.
“It’s just rumours, noise about him. We can see Riyad smile, enjoying his football, enjoying to play with his team-mates.
“After the training session he continues to play, I wanted him to stay rested, but it’s perfect.”
Another Leicester City star Harry Maguire has also been rumoured with a big-money switch to Manchester City with Pep Guardiola is looking to strengthen the defensive options in January.
