London club are interested in signing Valencia attacker Carlos Soler. The report states that the Spanish manager is looking to bring in footballers when the transfer window opens, with the Gunners being keen on U21 Spain international.

Carlos has been a key member of Valencia’s squad since coming through the youth academy in 2016, racking up over 100 La Liga caps. Soler is considered to be quite a flair footballer, having sound technical ability whilst in possession of the ball a trait Mikel likes to see from his players.

Spaniard recently committed his future to the club though, signing a new contract with Valencia until 2023, just last December. However, Sky Sports cite Marca is reporting that the Bats need to raise more than £30m in footballer sales before June 30th, in order to ‘balance their books’.

If this is true, Gunners could be able to sign the 23-year-old attacker for a cut price. Their midfield is in need of some added depth, particularly if loanee Dani Ceballos does not sign a permanent deal.

Arsenal signed Pablo Mari from Flamengo and Cedric Soares from Southampton during the winter transfer window. Gunners heavily linked with RB Leipzig centre-back Dayot Upamecano and Roma defender Chris Smalling.
