Arsenal are reportedly leading the race to sign Barcelona out-of-favour midfielder Andre Gomes in this summer transfer window.
Portuguese international playmaker has only moved to the Catalans from their La Liga rivals Valencia in the summer of 2016, however, has struggled to settle at Ernesto Valverde’s side.
The 24-year-old did played 31 times for Barcelona in all competitions last season, although he found it difficult to win a starting spot in Ernesto Valverde’s starting XI, and started only 16 La Liga games.
