Arsenal and Tottenham are reported to be frontrunners to secure services of FC Copenhagen forward Robert Skov, according to the reports from Danish media sources.
The 22-year-old winger has caught the eye of a number of Premier League teams this campaign following his impressive form, this term he has managed to found back of the net 24 times in 38 games for Copenhagen this term.
According to Ekstra Bladet, Skov has been watched by West Ham United, Wolves and Tottenham. However, it is Arsenal who are at the front of the queue to lure €20m-rated star at the Emirates Stadium.
The ex-Denmark Under-21 international has a deal with Copenhagen until the summer of 2022 and can play on either wing, and can also operate in a more central position if required.
Arsenal’s direct Premier League rivals Tottenham have gone two transfer windows without signing a new player and they are desperate to lure Skov at White Hart Lane ahead of the next season.
Arsenal are desperate to strengthen their offensive end this summer and Skov seems to be an ideal target for them as they see him as an upgrade for Alex Iwobi who has struggled to show the consistency.
Meanwhile, Arsenal will reportedly reignite their interest in securing services of Dalian Yifang winger Yannick Ferreira Carrasco for the next season.
According to The Express, though, the Gunners head-coach Unai Emery is still determined to sign former Atletico Madrid forward and is hopeful that his team can agree on a deal for the versatile attacker when the transfer window re-opens in the summer.
